Engine room stripped out, repainted and then rebuilt to include:
~ 2 new Perkins Sabre engines
~ 2 new Northern Lights generators: 25 kw / 8kw
~ MCA compliant piping systems and new pumps
~ Bow thruster and Maxprop propellor overhauled by respective manufacturers
~ New oil removal and filling pump
~ New main hydraulic pump and all hydraulic systems overhauled
Interior Works as follows:
~ Air conditioning renewed throughout
~ Galley rebuild including the addition of custom built a/c stainless steel
~ Fridge/freezers with automatic de-frost cycles
~ Headliners largely renewed
~ Much re-finishing of the interior surfaces and floors
~ New mattresses, blinds and upholstery package
~ Bose Lifestyle 35 sound system and Sharp 30 inch LCD TV added
Electronic package renewed to include:
~ New Furuno 1740, 64 mile radar with ARPA plus Furuno Navtex
~ New Leica MX420 GPS and Navigation System
~ New forward sweeping Interphase Sonar
~ New Transas Navisailor 3000, full commercial navigation system with world-wide charts, fully integrated radar overlay inc. ARPA targets, split screen for sonar and weather wizard. One navigation station monitor and one full sunlight monitor on helm. Navtex integrated with Transas for ease of use. Further stand alone backup computer and separate hand-held GPS feed to ensure full world-wide emergency backup navigation availability.
~ M50 gyro compass overhauled by manufacturer
~ Robertson Autopilot system overhauled by manufacturer
~ New built-in Iridium communication system for full world-wide comms.
~ Two built-in VHF sets: one serving nav station, saloon and aft cabin Skanti and one helm console Icom VHF plus three Icom VHF hand-held sets
~ Original helm and cockpit ST50 instruments replaced with new ST60s
~ 4 Icom radio communication sets for deck and mast work comms.
~ Furuno SSB and Icom SSB
~ Furuno 24 mile radar located in aft master suite
~ New laser printer
~ All cabin stereo CD and radio entertainment systems overhauled or renewed
Extensive exterior works including:
~ Repainting of the hull, superstructure and spars in Awlgrip
~ Replacement of the pilothouse windows
~ Maunfacturers overhaul of the deck gear
~ Standing rigging renewed
~ Running rigging renewed
~ Sail wardrobe largely renewed with new Doyle Vectran main, mizzen, genoa and staysail
~ New 8-man Life-raft
~ New Avon 400DL Sea-Jet tender, white with navy blue cover
~ New navy blue dodger and matching seating in cockpit and aft deck
